Chartering
Presently, with the assistance of Genoa Energy, clients, including both Ship Owners and Charterers, can arrange contracts for the transportation of various products:
Voyage Charter
This type of contract involves the hire of a vessel for a single voyage, with the charterer having control over the cargo and the vessel during the agreed-upon voyage.
Time Charter
In a time charter agreement, the charterer hires the vessel for a specified period, during which they have control over the vessel’s operations and cargo handling. The owner provides the vessel and crew.
COA (Contract Of Affreightment)
A COA is a running contract in which the charterer commits to providing a specific number of cargoes within a year, while the owner undertakes to transport the cargoes within agreed-upon dates. This type of contract ensures regular shipments throughout the contract period.
